If you are a beginner in alpine climbing and want to master the basics, this program is perfect for you. During the week of classes, you'll gain enough skills and confidence to climb your first technical alpine route.
You will learn and gain hands-on experience in basic knots, belaying techniques, climbing on easy rocky terrain, placing protection points to secure your climb, building reliable anchors, climbing in rope teams, rappelling down and more.
At the end of the program, we will climb one of the technical peaks in the area. This will require the use of special climbing equipment and the application of all the technical skills you have learned.

Coming from a purely sport climbing background in Singapore where there are no mountains, but with ambition of entering alpinism, I reached out to Konstantin for an abridged 5-Day Mountaineering Course + 2-Day Ice Climbing in Winter.
The course was extremely enriching, Konstantin adjusts the course in real time with relation in how you are progressing / picking up the skills. In my case since I knew some of the basic skill from sport climbing, we were able to explore other concepts and more niche skills based on my specific ambitions in climbing.
We covered Rope Teams, Multipitch Climbing, Trad Placements + Anchor Building, Pulleys, Jumaring, Rappeling (+ recapped on prerequisite knowledge) and Summitted Oktyabrenok, but this may not be your experience as I understand that each course is bespoke.
The logistics of the course were very well thought out and accomodated change due to adverse weather very well. The campsite (Tuyuk-Su Alpine Camp) was very pleasant and there is nothing I can say to dissuade anyone from taking the course.
Konstantin is definitely a guy who knows his stuff and you'd be in safe hands taking this course.
